International show by Art D’Egypt - For ever is now 0.4

produced by Ministeto Esteri, Istituto italiano cultura Cairo, Collezione Motta, Gestione Silo

The title I See I See , a common English expression meaning
"I see, I understand”— represents a challenge to traditional
perception, bridging ancient Egyptian knowledge
withcontemporary explorations through the use of optical
physics. Inspired by the Egyptian myth of humanity's origin
from the tears of the Sun God’s eye, Di Carlo’s installation
stands as a giant observatory in the Giza Plateau.

Using the laws of physics and light, it offers viewers new
perspectives on the world. The installation consists of a
complex network of optical lenses that interact with the
desert light, transforming the visual experience of the
spectators, encouraging them to re-examine the landscape
of the pyramids with a new gaze.
Di Carlo’s work, merging
art, physics, and myth, not only pays homage to Egypt's
ancient civilization but also poses questions about our
relationship with the natural and cosmic world.

I SEE,I SEE, is large structure about 7 meters long by 2,5
meters high stands out toward the landscape of the
archaeological area of Giza, interposing itself between the
visitors' gaze and the vision of the pyramids.
the structure model is ispired by constructions of astronomical mirrors for observing the universe.
